Cross Training did not begin with a building. It began in unseen moments.Early mornings in borrowed gyms. Late nights in empty fields. Small Bible studies in homes and coffee shops. Conversations in hallways. Prayers whispered over students no one else noticed.
Back then there were no banners, public recognition, or permanent
address. Just a conviction that if we faithfully showed up, the Lord would send young people, and He would do the real work in their lives. Growth did not come quickly; it came quietly. One student at a time. One practice at a time. One transformed life at a time.Looking back, what stands out is not the size and growth of the programs,
but rather the depth of the impact. We’ve witnessed faith take root in the hearts of so many young people who had never opened a Bible. Young men and women are truly grasping the truth that they are known, called, and deeply loved by God. Thousands have found a “faith home” in Cross Training. The scoreboard was never the ultimate goal. The dream was to see character develop, faith grow, leadership unfold, and celebrate Heaven getting a little more crowded!
Now, as Cross Training steps into a new chapter, we do so with the
same humility and the same dependence on the Lord that marked the
beginning. The vision in front of us is larger, but the heart behind it has
not changed. We are not building for recognition. We are building to serve the next generation faithfully, boldly, and for decades to come. Thank you for believing in what God is doing. The best stories are still ahead.
The time is NOW!
